Week 3 of Waffle Wagon Set-Up

Week 3 of Waffle Wagon Set-Up

Wrap of Trailer: During this time period, I coordinated with Kim at Quality Car Care and a designer at Signarama in Madison on requested updates to my "wrap" design for the waffle wagon.  Both were very responsive and made edits as requested. Kim kept me updated on the status of the design and I delivered my trailer to her location on South Memorial Pkwy for the beginning of the wrap process.  Her staff at Quality Car Care was very professional.

Insurance: I learned that you need insurance for your food trailer when it is secured to your vehicle and transported from point A to B.  You also need insurance for your trailer when it has been disconnected from your vehicle, and it is operational.

Generator:  I selected a 12,500-watt Westinghouse generator and looked for welders able to secure the generator to the tongue of the food trailer.  Pending.

I communicated with the Alabama Health Inspector assigned to me.  I neglected to include a drawn-out plan of the inside of the waffle wagon.  I submitted a drawing with measurements of where the gray and white-water tanks were located, the refrigerator, freezer, etc. and am pending inspection.  (Okay, I did take a much-needed vacation during this time period as well.)

During my vacation, Kim provided by with updates of the wrap. Upon my return, I was notified by Kim, veteran owner of Quality Car Care that my waffle wagon was ready for pick up.  I am so looking forward to seeing the finished product in person!
